The Winterset Police Department consists of 10 full-time officers providing 24-hour coverage to the City of Winterset.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Winterset Police Department is to improve the quality of life in the City of Winterset by working cooperatively with the community and within the framework of the U.S. Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce crime and provide a safe community for all.
The Winterset Police Department will continually strive for excellence in the performance of its duties through education, training and collaboration with its citizens.
