Note: Maple trees are not being recommended for street planting at this time in an effort to diversify the current tree canopy in Winterset.

Meetings are held monthly and the public is encouraged to attend.

The Tree Commission consists of five (5) members of which at least three (3) shall reside within the corporate city limits.  Two (2) members may reside outside the corporate city limits but shall reside within the Winterset Community School District.
